Refund policy

Harmony Domes builds premium geodesic dome kits, tiny houses, and timber homes. Most structures are made to order and built to your county code, so our policy is designed around that. Please read it before you reserve or purchase.
Reservations and the $500 deposit
- A reservation deposit (typically $500) holds your build slot and locks the configured price shown at the time of reservation.
- The deposit is fully refundable, with no strings attached, until production of your unit begins. If you decide not to proceed before we start building, contact us and we will refund the deposit in full.
- Once we begin production on a made-to-order or custom unit, the deposit and any amounts paid become non-refundable, because materials have been committed and fabrication has started. We will always confirm with you before production begins.
Made-to-order and custom structures
- Structures configured or built to your specifications (size, package, frame, glass, insulation, interior, county-code engineering, etc.) are custom, made-to-order goods and are not eligible for return or exchange once production has begun.
- Before production, you may change your configuration or cancel your reservation for a full deposit refund.
Stocked or standard accessories
- Standard, unused accessories or add-ons that ship separately and are still in original, resalable condition may be returned within 30 days of delivery. The customer is responsible for return shipping unless the item was damaged or incorrect. Refunds are issued to the original payment method once we receive and inspect the item.
Damage, defects, and warranty
- Inspect your delivery on arrival. Note any visible freight damage on the delivery receipt and take photos before the carrier leaves.
- Report shipping damage or missing parts within 5 business days of delivery to customerservice@harmonydomes.com with photos, and we will arrange replacement of the affected parts.
- Manufacturing defects are covered by our limited warranty: 5 years on the frame and cover; 14 months on windows and against defects. Warranty covers repair or replacement of the affected components and does not cover damage from misuse, improper installation, alteration, or normal wear. Full warranty terms available on request.
How to request a refund or report an issue
Email customerservice@harmonydomes.com with your order/reservation number and details (and photos if reporting damage). We aim to respond within 1-2 business days.
Refund timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take 5-10 business days to appear.
