A geodesic dome kit is the structure and everything that makes it weathertight, ready for you to finish or upgrade. The base kit gives you the bones and the shell; packages and add-ons decide how finished it arrives. Here is exactly what is in the box, and what is not.

What every Harmony dome kit includes

The Core kit is the structure, ready to build on:

• Powder-coated steel frame, engineered for a 20-plus year structure
• Belgian architectural PVC cover, 650 g/sqm, fire-rated, fully waterproof, UV and mold resistant, with a 15 to 20 year replaceable life
• A blackout layer and a clear PVC panorama window
• A door opening, air vents, and the anchor kit for your foundation
• A reflective foil insulation liner, setup instructions, and our team on call through assembly

That is a complete, weathertight shell you can stand up and finish yourself.

What you choose on top

This is where a kit becomes a home. Comfort adds full insulation, a finished liner, and curtains. Signature adds the glass-front door system, double-pane windows, and solid wall panels. Beyond the packages, you can add the modular interior unit for a kitchen, bathroom, and loft, and choose the framing tier that matches your site's wind and snow. You pick, we engineer and document it.

What is not in the kit

Worth knowing up front so nothing surprises you: the kit does not include the foundation (a deck or concrete pad your contractor builds, though we provide the drawings), utilities if you are living in it or renting it, or freight, which is quoted to your location. Is the door included in a dome kit?

The Core kit includes the door opening and frame; the door itself comes with the finished packages, and any standard 36x80 door fits.

Can you build a geodesic dome kit yourself?

Yes. Most owners assemble with a small crew over a few days, with an illustrated manual and our team on call. Larger domes just want a few more hands.
